BIO
Fueled by a love of country music, Elliott Prather strives to fill the shoes of the great artists and songwriters that have come before him. Growing up an only child in Georgia, Prather discovered his love for songwriting as a teenager, drawing inspiration from the library of country and rock and roll vinyl records, cassette tapes, and CDs of his parents. He was introduced to acts like Randy Travis, George Jones, and Travis Tritt, along with their catalogues and began experimenting with writing his own material. Today, Prather is a senior Songwriting major at Belmont University in Nashville and writing new material every week, motivated by his fellow students and the singer-songwriters of today's music scene.
Prather has released three projects thus far in his career: his debut album "While I Still Can," the subsequent, bare-bones EP "Limited Resources," and his latest single "Crossing State Lines."
His end goal: give the world something real to latch onto.
